Portrait Photography Portfolio

I loved portrait! I haven’t had too much experience with photography before and I thought portrait might be fun. It was. The final 2 projects were my favorite. High Key is fun and there are tons of things you can do with it and any chance I have to get out of the studio I get I’m really excited. I think there is a progression of work in my portfolio. For me, it gets better at the end. I got a better feeling for working with people and posing and I think that is apparent though the portfolio. I really liked this class and had a lot of fun at each shoot! So here is my portflio……enjoy…..

These are my collages. I like my design projects to be simple and I carried that over to my collages. I’m really happy with the way they turned out.

My theme for my portfolio is motion. This means either things in motion or the camera was in motion. It was hard to pick a theme for the whole semester but I ended up liking what I came up with. I also really enjoyed shooting downtown. There are a lot of fun memories with some of these pictures and others are just fun to look at. I really enjoyed this class and felt like I pushed myself to do things I wouldn’t normally do. I like to be creative and do things differently and I hope that shows through in my portfolio. So here it is…enjoy……

High key was so much fun! I wanted to try some new things and do some shots that were more fashion looking than typical “senior portrait” style. My model was great and was willing to do (and wear) whatever I asked her, even if she thought I was crazy :) We had a lot of fun. So, this is Emily……..

My theme for this class is motion. I have been taking pictures of things in motion so this time I desided I would be doing the motion while taking pictures. This is what I came up with…
